Humble in Heart mission, originally called St. Verena (2000-2012), was founded by the late engineer Adel Ayad, driven by his desire to follow Jesus Christ’s commandment to help the poor and needy. and was established in the US in 2019. 

We are present in 90+ villages in upper Egypt governorates of Minya, Sohag, and Asyut, supporting 1000+ underprivileged children and their families. As our children complete their education, they go on to become productive men and women who contribute back to their communities. This cycle allows us to continue to onboard new children, with the goal of creating a self-sustaining community that is rooted in education for all, and service to others. The need is growing as more and more children are in dire need of assistance.
