Since inception, the organization has supported thousands of children complete their primary and college education. As our children complete their studies, they go on to become productive men and women who contribute back to their communities. This cycle allows us to continue to onboard new children into the program every day, with goals of creating a self-sustaining community that is rooted in education for all, and service to others.

Picture is for the departed Mr. Ayad our founder, who started the mission back in the year 2000. He passed away in the year 2012 after establishing the mission in upper Egypt, reaching more than 90 cities and supporting thousands of children to complete their education.
His wife Mrs. Dalal Ayad carries on his legacy and continues to lead the mission activities.

Mr. George Ayad is the President and Founder of Humble in Heart. He has more than 30 years of experience in global management and business partnerships, and has helped shape and expand Humble in Heart since its founding in 2000, working closely with his late father, Mr. Adel Ayad, to establish the mission and vision that guide the organization today.
Mrs. Mira Ayad, his partner in a lifelong journey of service, serves as the Vice President of Humble in Heart. She is a multi-year recipient of industry awards recognizing the most influential women in the technology and channel ecosystem..

Dr. Farid is the Treasurer of Humble in Heart. Dr. Farid is an Obstetrician Gynecologist with over 40 years of medical experience in various countries including Egypt, Ireland and England. His wife for over 40 years, Dr. Wafaa Farid has been his partner in a lifelong journey of service.
Dr. Farid has a passion for service and has been involved in multiple charitable and humanitarian projects in various places around the world such as Egypt, Ethiopia and Gabon.

Dr. Rafla is the Secretary of Humble In Heart. She is an Obstetrician Gynecologist with 30 years of practice. Her husband, Dr. Atef Rafla specializes in Pain Management and Anesthesia.
The Rafla family owns and operates multiple businesses including Coastline Surgery Center and Beach Surgical supplies which employs a number of physicians and staff members. Dr. Rafla has served in underserved communities in Egypt, Spain, and Ecuador.
HUMBLE IN HEART, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Federal ID #84-3685363. Donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Reference IRS Publication 526. Humble In Heart participates in corporate giving, matching and volunteering programs for Microsoft, Google, Apple, T-Mobile and other corporations leveraging Benevity causes.
